# Overview

**Step Land is a Web3 lifestyle app with inbuilt Game-Fi elements**

 

**Step Land** is built around an essential daily activity – moving around. Users equip themselves with NFTs in the form of shoes. By walking, jogging, or running outdoors, users will earn game tokens, which can either be used in-game, or cashed-in for profit.

With Game-Fi, **Step Land** aims to encourage people to adopt a healthier lifestyle, combat climate change and connect the public to Web 3.0, all while simultaneously leaning on it’s Social-Fi aspect to build a long-lasting platform and helping to further popularise the move-to-earn model.
